Do I have to start renting on the 1stof the month?
Nope! You can move in any day. We prorate your payment to the 1stof the following month, then you are due on the first of each month (there is a minimum 1 month requirement). Easy!
Can I rent from month-to-month?
Yes. You can cancel any time. All payments are monthly, due on the 1st. We offer discounts when prepaying for 6 or 12 months in advance.
How do I pay for my storage unit?
Your first month’s rent can be paid by credit or debit card (no cash). All further monthly payments will be withdrawn automatically from your bank account using Pre-authorized withdrawl or post-dated cheques.
How much notice do I need to give if I’m vacating?
2 weeks before the end of the month in which you are vacating.
How do I move my stuff in?
We will tell you which access door at which to park your vehicle(s). Inside you will find complimentary moving dollies to push your belongings to your storage unit. If you rent an unheated storage unit, you can pull your vehicle(s) right up to your own door!
Do I need my own lock?
Yes. If you have a sturdy padlock, feel free to use it (combination locks not allowed). If you don’t, we sell high quality locks in our lobby.
Can I access my storage unit 24/7?
Dawson Road units are accessible from Monday-Saturday 8am-7pm.
Our Regal Road units are accessible from 7am-9pm every day.
Is there anything I’m not allowed to store?
No liquids, food of any kind, explosives, flammables or hazardous material are strictly prohibited from the premises. No exceptions.
Do you sell moving supplies?
We sure do! Boxes of all sizes, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, packing paper, tape, moving blankets, mattress covers, locks, labels…the list goes on!
